  1. How many 'locals' are being pushed out, because you newcomers are driving up the cost of rent/property sales? (Yes, I'm aware that corporations are buying up properties.).

We were here first — after the Indigenous peoples, obviously — but long before this wave of newcomers who crash in, take over, and strut around as if the state belongs to them. It doesn’t.

  2. Personally I would’ve gone with the third house … yes, over budget, but by the time they spend 💴 on the pool, the carpeting, the kitchen, they’re at the same price point anyways. The third house had the pool, and it was screened in, there was no highway noise, didn’t have to worry about tearing up carpet, just repainting a few walls. PLUS it had a bathroom entrance from the pool for guests not to swamp the house and go directly into the shower. For the master suite, the garden was was blocking the pool, but just put in a stone path and it keeps the garden and gives you a way in and out of the bedroom for the pool area. These people were nuts … 3rd house best choice hands down.

  3. As someone who stays in the same area that they are in I think the second house was the perfect choice the fact that they had got it at the list price is great because you will typically go 10-20 grand over budget just be she st. pete and clear water is hot ticket places
